DOMStringList: contains() method

This feature is well established and works across many devices and browser versions. It’s been available across browsers since July 2015.

Note: This feature is available in Web Workers.

The contains() method returns a boolean indicating whether the given string is in the list.

Syntax

contains(string)

Parameters

string: A string you want to check for the existence of in the list.

Return value

A boolean indicating whether the given string is in the list.

Exceptions

TypeError: Thrown if no argument is provided.
