Location: toString() method

This feature is well established and works across many devices and browser versions. It’s been available across browsers since July 2015.
The toString()
stringifier method of the
Location
interface returns a string containing the
whole URL. It is a read-only version of Location.href
.

Return value
A string representing the object's URL.
Examples

const result = window.location.toString(); // Returns: 'https://example.com/path?search#hash'
