This feature is well established and works across many devices and browser versions. It’s been available across browsers since January 2021.

The SVGClipPathElement interface provides access to the properties of <clipPath> elements, as well as methods to manipulate them.

Instance properties

This interface also inherits properties from its parent, SVGElement.

SVGClipPathElement.clipPathUnits Read only

Returns an SVGAnimatedEnumeration corresponding to the clipPathUnits attribute of the associated <clipPath> element. Takes one of the constants defined in SVGUnitTypes.

SVGClipPathElement.transform Read only

Returns an SVGAnimatedTransformList corresponding to the transform attribute of the associated <clipPath> element.

Instance methods

This interface doesn't implement any specific methods, but inherits methods from its parent, SVGElement.
