HTMLTableElement: cellPadding property
Deprecated: This feature is no longer recommended. Though some browsers might still support it, it may have already been removed from the relevant web standards, may be in the process of being dropped, or may only be kept for compatibility purposes. Avoid using it, and update existing code if possible; see the compatibility table at the bottom of this page to guide your decision. Be aware that this feature may cease to work at any time.
The HTMLTableElement.cellPadding
property represents the
padding around the individual cells of the table.
Value
A string representing pixels (e.g., "10"
) or a percentage value (e.g., "10%"
).
When set to the null
value, that null
value is converted to the empty string (""
), so elt.cellPadding = null
is equivalent to elt.cellPadding = ""
.
Examples
// Set cell padding to 10 pixels
let t = document.getElementById("TableA");
t.cellPadding = "10";
